Interacting Safely with Students Remotely using Jotcast and Padlet

Topic: Join David Mitchell as he explores and introduces two tools to add to your remote learning offering: Padlet and Jotcast. Bio: David Mitchell is a former Headteacher of two schools and has 22 years experience in the primary sector. Since leaving Headship in 2013, he has been working with hundreds of schools across the globe on projects linked to audience and purpose, making learning relevant for students of all ages through effective and proven strategies involving technology. DeputyMitchell has been working with JSPC since September 2020 providing all the Google training for JSPC schools across the South East with many of you meeting him as the host of JSPC’s last two Roadshows.

Chris White, Detective Inspector and Head of Cyber and Innovation at South East Cyber Resilience Centre
Topic: Join Chris to learn all about cyber security awareness for the educational sector. 
Bio: Chris left college and started a career in computing with a multi national technology company.  He joined the Police in the mid 90s working across various departments focussing on technological roles. Always looking for solutions and keeping abreast of technology, he joined the South East Regional Organised Crime Unit as a Police Cyber Security Advisor and Prevent Sgt, delivering the National Cyber Security Strategy where he has been working with the private sector raising the awareness of cyber security, coaching and encouraging positive behaviour change within organisations, assisting those in the midst of cyber incidents and managing the offenders responsible.
